HOA FAQ

  • What are the HOA's maintenance responsibilities?

    The HOA is responsible for common area driveway and landscaping only. 


    Village of Atascocita Shores is a FINANCIAL SERVICES ONLY contract with Ashoka Lion. Maintenance, violations, etc. are handled by the HOA Board. Any request received will be forwarded to the board to follow up.

  • How often are dues paid?

    Payments are due on a Monthly basis. 

  • If I want to make a change to the exterior of my home, can I do so?

    As there are community guidelines at  Village of Atascocita, any changes that would alter the exterior should be submitted via your portal so the ACC guidelines can be reviewed and approved.  Homeowners can make these request in their homeowner portal. 

  • How do I reach the HOA board?

    Village of Atascocita is a administrative and financial services client, we are not handling the coordination nor we are not updated on the status of repairs, so our team may not be able to help with these kind of requests.

  • What days are trash pickups?

    As Trash service is provided by the City of Houston: 


    Regular trash - every Tuesday & Friday 

    No recycling or large item pickup

  • How can I pay my HOA dues/assessment?

    Payments can be made in three ways:


    Online through the portal using a Credit Card, Debit Card, or draft from your bank.  NOTE: Payment options through the portal incur a service fee from the software provider. The service fee will be displayed based on the payment option you select. You can see more on paying through the portal HERE. 


    By Mail using the coupon book sent out in November of the prior year.


    By cash at several local retailers such as CVS, Walmart, etc. NOTE: Cash option requires a PDF to be emailed to you before making payment at a location as the PDF contains a barcode specific to YOUR account. 


    All owners requesting to pay via cash must email AssociationManager@ashokalion.com or call 832-364-6025 to request the PDF.
