Houston Property Management: Tenant Move In Checklist
Houston Property Management welcomes our new tenants to your upcoming home. To help our prospective tenants, our Houston property managers have prepared this checklist to insure that you are handling all the key steps. For example, our Houston property management offices require that all the key steps are completed prior to the orientation date. This checklist will allow you to save and track you progress to insure that you have completed all the key steps prior to the orientation dates, as you will be able to "Save and Resume Later" steps. Our Houston property managements require tenants to do prior to your tenant orientation include:
- Tenants must turn on their utilities prior to moving in and submit the proof to us
- Tenants must obtain and maintain renters insurance that has appropriate coverage and has us listed on the policy as "Additional Insured" or at minimum "Additional Interest"
- Complete Tenant Maintenance Assessment to insure tenants understand the importance that tenants are responsible for upkeep and maintenance at the home
- Pay their deposit within 48 hours of approval and pay other funds owed at least 2 business days prior to orientation to insure smooth process
- Set Date of Tenant Orientation prior to move in date
