Splash into Summer

As the temperatures rise and summer settles in, the community pool becomes one of the most enjoyable amenities in the neighborhood. Whether you’re looking to cool off, relax after a long day, or spend quality time with family and friends, the pool offers a refreshing escape from the heat. Because it is such a popular gathering place, it’s important for all residents to understand how pool access works and to follow the guidelines that keep the area clean, safe, and enjoyable for everyone.

To ensure the pool remains secure and accessible only to authorized users, homeowners are required to register a phone number through the VIZpin smartphone app. This digital key system helps maintain safety, prevents unauthorized entry, and provides a convenient way for residents to access the pool without needing physical cards or fobs.

Below is a step-by-step guide to help you complete your registration:

  1. Download the App
Search for “VIZpin SMART” in the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store and download the app to your smartphone.
  2. Register as a New User
Open the app and select the option to register. Enter all the required details, including your name, phone number, and email address. This information must match what is on file for your property.
  3. Enter the Verification Code
After submitting your registration, you will receive an SMS containing a security code. Enter this code in the app to complete the verification process.
  4. Enter the Location ID
If your Building Manager has provided a Location ID, enter it when prompted. If not, simply tap
    Continue to move forward.
  5. Log In to the App
Use the same phone number and password you created during registration to log in.
  6. Allow Permissions
The app may request certain permissions (such as Bluetooth access). Tap
Allow to ensure the app functions properly.
  7. Retrieve Your Digital Keys
Once your Building Manager approves your access, you’ll be able to tap the grey key icon in the app to download your VIZpin digital keys. This will enable you to unlock the pool gate directly from your phone.

Registration instructions for VIZpin are also available in the Documents section of the community portal for your convenience. Please note that only one access per property is included. If you need additional access—for example, for another adult occupant—you must submit a request using the form provided HERE.

Pool Etiquette and Safety Expectations

Access to the pool is a privilege, and maintaining a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment requires cooperation from all residents. Beyond registration, it is important to remember the rules and expectations that help keep the pool area welcoming for everyone.

Please follow these essential guidelines:

  • Supervise children at all times
Parents and guardians must actively watch their children. Lifeguards are not on duty, and adult supervision is the most effective way to prevent accidents.
  • No glass containers in the pool area
Broken glass is extremely dangerous around water and concrete. For everyone’s safety, bring only plastic or metal containers.
  • Respect quiet hours
Many homes are located near the pool, so please be mindful of noise, especially during early mornings or evenings. Keeping sound levels reasonable helps maintain neighborhood harmony.
  • Follow guest limits
Homeowners are encouraged to enjoy the pool with guests, but limits are in place to prevent overcrowding. Be sure your guests follow pool rules as well—residents are responsible for their behavior.
  • Clean up after yourself
Dispose of trash properly, return furniture to its original position, and leave the area as tidy as you found it. A clean pool deck helps keep pests away and preserves the space for others.
  • Follow posted rules and safety signage
These rules were created to protect residents and ensure everyone can enjoy the amenities without unnecessary risks.

By being mindful of these expectations, residents can help maintain a safe, family-friendly atmosphere throughout the season. Community pools thrive when everyone plays their part, respects shared spaces, and treats fellow residents with courtesy.

Building a Safe and Enjoyable Summer Experience

The community pool is more than just a place to cool off—it’s a shared resource that brings neighbors together, encourages healthy outdoor activity, and enhances the overall quality of life in the community. By taking a few minutes to register properly and following the rules that protect the space, you’re contributing to a positive experience for all.

As you head into summer, take advantage of this wonderful amenity. Bring your sunscreen, stay hydrated, watch your loved ones closely, and enjoy everything the pool has to offer. Together, we can keep the pool area safe, clean, and welcoming all season long.

Enjoy your summer and make the most of your community pool—safely, responsibly, and with consideration for your neighbors!
