UNDERSTANDING YOUR HOA

Bancroft Square is part of a Gated Community governed by a Homeowners Association (HOA). This HOA is managed by Ashoka Lion property management firm based in Houston.

According to the governing documents, the Association is responsible for maintaining:
 
Reserves, Common Area Easements, and Subdivision Facilities — including landscaping and any improvements located in these areas.

Common or shared utilities (e.g., sanitary sewer, drainage, storm water, water lines, water meters) that serve two or more townhomes — up to the point where they branch off to individual homes.

However, the Association is not responsible for : Any part of the Exclusive Use Area (e.g., patios, balconies, or fenced yards designated for a single owner's use), except for any Subdivision Facilities located within those areas.

Utilities that serve only one townhome, starting from the point where they separate from the shared/common system.
